At the Meet the Saints Luncheon, Coach Payton promised that this would be an
exciting year, and I think we can all agree that he kept his promise!!!! No one would
have guessed at the beginning of the season that we would have 13 wins before we
would experience our first lost. Who would have thought that Saints Fans would have
to cheer and pull for, of all teams, the Chicago Bears? Not me for sure! I can still hear
that awful cheer “Bear Down Chicago, Bear Down”. That chant simply haunts me to
this day.
We have locked up the playoffs with home field advantage. Let’s all cheer for the Black
and Gold this weekend against our conference rival, the Panthers. Let’s all be in that
number in the Dome for the playoffs, and ultimately cheer the Black and Gold to the
Super Bowl.
